All-Natural Cleaning Supplies

Do you not like using chemical cleaners because they irritate your airways or because you simply care about the environment? We have collected recipes for cleaning solutions that are all natural and work at least as well as their chemical counterparts!

To make an all-purpose cleaner, mix ¼ cup baking soda and ½ cup vinegar into ½ gallon water. You can keep this solution and use it for everything that you would normally use an all-purpose cleaner for. It works especially well with microfiber cloths.

Do you have mold in your bathroom tile grout? That’s a very common problem. You can mix one part 3% hydrogen peroxide with two parts water in a spray bottle. Spray it on the affected areas and wait at least one hour before rinsing.

Carpet stains are a whole chapter in and of themselves. For a normal strength carpet cleaner mix vinegar and water in equal parts. Spray this on the stain, wait a few minutes and clean off with warm water.
